Ann Karrick was the host and producer of For The Record, a national weekly talk show on ION Media Networks. The show airs in Connecticut and Rhode Island, on many of the 60 stations on the ION network. On occasion, you used to find Ann in the newsroom at News12 in Westchester. Ann also was one of the regular hosts on Issues and Answers -- a live television show out of New Haven -- and hosted other local television and radio shows.

You can hear Ann on 103.9 WFAS in New York or on WEBE-108 and WICC-600  just outside of New York in Connecticut, mornings or afternoons -- hosting a talk show, co-hosting the morning show, delivering news, reporting on traffic, or playing music. Previously, Ann was the Morning Show Co-host on Q105 (WQGN) in New London, CT.

During a five month assignment as the morning show news anchor on WEBE & WICC the stations achieved a combined share of 22.9 and WEBE was named "Radio Station of the Year," earning an R&R Industry Achievement Award. In The Fairfield County Weekly's 2008 and 2003 Best Local Radio Personality poll, Ann placed second and third, respectively.

In the late '90s, Ann was part of the morning-drive news team on WSTC/WNLK as an anchor and reporter, and filled-in on the morning shows on WKHL and WEFX. Prior to her position in Norwalk/Stamford, Ann worked at WELI in New Haven, and provided live reports to WPKN in Bridgeport and WWYZ in Hartford -- from Mardi Gras and the Atlanta Olympics. She worked with Ski Watch, part of the Connecticut Radio Network (CRN), as a skiing reporter and researcher.

In addition to her on-air broadcasting positions, Ann works as a marketing, public relations, and organizational & efficiency consultant. Currently, she works for Saga Communications as the programming coordinator and with Creative Concepts as a client development manager. Former clients and employers include IBM, AT&T, and Golf Digest as well as sports marketing companies, public relations agencies and a dot.com company.

Ann helps with pro-bono media and public relations work for a local non-profit group, Nutmeg Curling. Thanks to Ann, the club was featured on Anthony Bourdain No Reservations on the Travel Channel, as well as on local television programs out of Hartford, New Haven, and Fairfield counties, and in numerous local newspapers.

Ann has two direct sales businesses, and sometimes substitutes as a math or foreign language teacher in the Westport public school system, or Greens Farms Academy also in Westport, and on occasion she instructs at the Connecticut School of Broadcasting. She also is a Mountain Ambassador at Killington Ski Resort in Vermont, and a Moderator on election day at the polls in Westport.

Ann is very involved with local business and community organizations including the Westport Chamber of Commerce, Westport Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), the Congressional District Advisory Council for the Permanent Commission on the Status of Women (PCSW), and is a former director/leader of both the Women in Sports Careers (WISC) Network and the Fairfield Network of Executive Women (FNEW).
